After several days of rain, off and on, some of Winteringham’s low-lying areas succumbed to the water!
Here Ken takes us on a tour of some of the areas worst affected.
If you’re going out, don’t forget your coat! These horses have benefited from a bit of prudence as their field becomes waterlogged.
The wisdom of Winteringham’s founders is plain for all to see, with the village sitting relatively high and dry above the Brickyards.
Above and below, we’d like to call these the silvery waters of Silver Street, but we can’t get away with that! Let’s hope Ken’s wellies didn’t spring a leak!
