By the way us here in Yorkshire ye know them further up north well we called a trolley a bogie.

What ever there name they were great fun.

Thanks again and keep up the brilliant work.

A cautionary tale!
A warning to other local cat owners.

Our cat didn't come home last Thursday (26 Nov). By Friday afternoon, we'd got quite worried about him, as he still hadn't turned up. My husband had been scanning the field at the side/back of our house, where our cat liked to roam (we are the last house on the right on Low Burgage, as you go towards the Haven), and suddenly spotted something way down in the field. He went to check it out and it was our cat: he'd been attacked by something (?a fox), and looked like he's been dead for a couple of days. He had two large puncture wounds in his flank and, to me, I suspect he'd been throttled; but he hadn't been attacked out of hunger.

I'm hoping that this is some rare and unfortunate occurence. I can't imagine what animal could have inflicted these wounds on our cat other than a fox. I would be interested to know if anyone else has experienced a problem like this, or if anyone could possibly suggest an explanation. It's also worth pointing out that there are quite a few neighbourhood cats who roam the fields at the back of our house, and owners might want to keep their cats in at night if possible.
